"Awesome people both Daniel and Matthew . Helped me with a savings at least 600 a year less . Just a question why i haven't met jake from state farm yet . Lol . But seriously had allstate for 40 years and was nervous about switching and after seeing the difference and plus having towing and rental car reimbursement included was something i didn't get with allstate . Thanks again and hopefully will have the same great service as i did with Allstate."

"I have been a State Farm customer for almost 30 YEARS. I had the same agent for over 20 of those until he passed away. I was automatically transferred to Matt's office and was pleased at first. He even sold us additional coverage. Around the time of 2020, we moved and needed them to make some additional changes/ corrections, and we have had policy questions. We have called, emailed, and texted with the agent's office. We would get a response about 5-10% of the time. My husband asked a question (via phone) about a policy more than TWO years ago and we still never got an answer even after following up. I went back through my emails and found EIGHT that we never received a response to. Several months ago, I received a call from, Dan, who works in the office as a "check in". He caught me at the right time, because instead of just saying everything was fine, I gave him the full rundown of complaints. He of course apologized as you would expect. I sort of thought we would get a phone call from the agent as a follow up but never did. I have finally given up, and decided it's time to change agents as we need to add an additional policy. The new agent we'd like to use, who is much closer to our home, told us that we can go through corporate, but the easiest way is to go to our existing agent. I called the existing agent today (who surprisingly answered) and explained that we'd like to change to an agent closer to our home just to keep it easy. He asked me if there was any other reasons we were changing and I said yes. I explained that I had gone over all the problems with Dan previously, and that we didn't like the unresponsiveness of the office. He said he was "at a loss" and had no idea of these problems. He then proceeded to tell me that I can have the new agent just make the change. He then proceeded to tell me "Have a nice life" and hung up the phone on me. So now, I'm writing this review, and have also called State Farm corporate and filed a formal complaint. I don't understand why customer service is so difficult for some people who work in a field where you're supposed to take care of your customers."

"Maryellen, I am sorry that you feel that way. When you called, I could tell how upset and mad you were. The first thing you said to me was that you were surprised I answered the phone. We're a smaller office, so I do answer the phone quite often. That did take me back a little bit. From the word hello, it was palpable how angry you were. Again, I am so sorry you were upset. These are challenging times in the insurance world. We have seen some recent changes with policy premiums. I know this has caused concern and anger for many. State Farm is working hard to navigate through these challenging times. As you mentioned, one of my Team Member's reached out to you to do a review of your account just a few months ago. We try to do these once a year to make sure we have the correct coverages in place. I see we had done reviews with you in year's past. After your call with Dan, it was not understood that you wished to have me call you as well. I apologize for that misunderstanding. We were under the impression that we were on the same page after the call. If we had known that you wanted me to call you as well, I certainly would have done that. I'm on the phone all day with customers. Again, my apologies for the miscommunication. One of the nice features of the State Farm CRM system is that all text messages, both inbound and outbound, are documented and stored. After our call, we did a careful review to see what, if anything, we had missed. Our system does not show a single text message received from you or your husband. I apologize for that fact. I know you said you texted us, but we have no record. I followed up with State Farm as well to see what could have been the issue. The best guess was that there was perhaps a text message from a phone # not associated with your account, but I do believe we had all of your pertinent phone #'s. Perhaps that is something you can verify with Tim. We also went through our email messages. I could only find one email from last May from you. We actually spoke about your accusations from the email over the phone. You said we had incorrectly identified the trim package on your truck, and this was going to cause your premium to go up. As we discussed, the VIN # is what drives the insurance ID cards. Again, I do apologize that made you so upset then too. I wish that description came over better and didn't cause that extra stress for you. I know you also wanted to transfer closer to your home, and I understand that. Again, I just want to apologize for you feeling the way you do about us. We work hard for our insureds, and it is appreciated by many. To hear that you did not have the same experience is something that we will work harder on in the future. I thank you for remaining a State Farm customer. I do wish you the best."
